Thank you very much!! My feelings on Mockingjay are precisely the same… it would be my favorite of all three if the war stuff had been done better, because I find the actual physical civil war more interesting than the Games themselves (not that those aren’t interesting, it’s just that Mockingjay raises the stakes). I thought that the treatment of Gale in Mockingjay was spectacularly lazy as you said and ughhhh about the triad of what the three mains could have been—just perfect. I wish it had been done that way.
IMPORTANT ISH ABOUT THIS BLOG
Hello, all!!!! I’m currently in the process of making a new blog since this one is kind of disorganized and it’s also a sideblog which has been a massive inconvenience since day one. I’ve been resisting this for a while, but considering I’m also about to enter a totally new phase in my life (year abroad!) I figured it was time for a new blog as well.
If you want to follow it the new url is visenyas (but do not at all feel obligated to refollow me if you don’t want AND I MEAN THAT) It’s still under construction and postage will be minimal during my year away, but posts along the lines of the stuff I post now will be consistently queued and I’ll be back in May of next year to get fully back into fandom ish.
and i’ll be refollowing a lot of people and reblogging my proudest posts there, and in about a week i’ll probably stop posting on this blog altogether.
